Here's a detail of the Stainless steel washers I used to tie in the bar weights to the handguard. Seems to work, although I'm sure a more creative cleaner way can be found. The kit comes with a machined piece that fits and spaces the guard, but didn't match up well with the bar ends. With some add'l machining to fit the barend, I bet they would look and function like factory. Loctite the outer 75mm bolts or they will loosen.
