Inner guard fastening consists of using the handguard kits' flush nut setup that fits into a groove on the handguards. A small plastic spacer (1/2" lenght, 3/8" inside diamter) and aluminum allen bolt (M6X 30mm) with washer complete the setup from the bottom.
